Welcome to Class 4
Hello, we are class 4 and welcome to our page. We are taught by Mr Thompson and are also taught by Miss WIlkinson.
This summer, we are looking forward to our new units. We are focusing on crime and punishment over the past 1000 years in history. In geography, we are looking at maps and fieldwork including our local area. Our science topic is on animals including humans, focusing on the digestive system. Physical, social cultural education will be a high priority this term. We are looking at how to be a good friend and recognising how we can be better citizens.
We are very much excited about our Forest Schools sessions on a Tuesday afternoon, we will be cooking on a fire and using tools to create a range of things. Please remember to send your child in with Forest Schools kit on a Tuesday. Remember warm clothes, lots of layers, wellies and things you don’t mind getting dirty!
Please see below for a breakdown of our learning this year. We are currently in Summer A
For history and geography we are in Cycle A.
Please read at least 3x a week with your child. There is space on each homework sheet to sign and date when you have read together.
Your child will receive spellings each week in their homework book. Please look up the definition of these words and put them into sentences with you child.
