Welcome to Class 5
Hello, our class is made up of Year 5 pupils. Our teacher is Mrs Carter. Mrs Wilkinson teaches us one day a week.
You can find out more about what we are learning about in Year Five by downloading our current curriculum map. We are currently working on cycle A. This term we are studying the Ancient Egyptians and wondering why it was such a successful civilization. This will link to our DT and art where we will be finding out just what an amazing achievement it was to build those pyramids – how did they do it? We’re using Egyptian artifacts to inspire artwork and will produce some Egyptian themed printed fabric. In Science the focus is properties of materials – lots of practical work to be done.
